WHO IS KANE SENIOR COUNCIL?

Since 2018, Kane Senior Council has been serving seniors in Kane County. But we have DEEP ROOTS in the senior community. In fact, our roots go back to 1974 when the DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC) began advocating and providing services for seniors in need in DuPage County, Illinois.

We began in Kane County serving meals to seniors struggling with food insecurity and nutrition. Senior Hunger is a continuing and growing epidemic even in Kane County.

Our services go beyond delivering meals.

We offer much needed services that help seniors live independently and help them stay connected and active in the community.

We continue to add new services which now include Home-Delivered Meals, Pet Food & Assistance, Well-Being Checks, Intergenerational Activities, Health & Wellness Education, and Senior Dining.
